Our test of the Head Gravity Tour Graphene 360+ racquet
In our test we found that the Gravity Tour with its 645 sq cm headsize and dense 18x20 string pattern provided excellent accuracy on every shot. Whether it's a forehand, backhand or volley, it's the first thing that hits! The racquet offers an excellent compromise between accuracy and feel.
It provides excellent confidence in hitting the ball and has allowed us to not hold back on our shots. However, it does require a good hitting ability to exploit the racquet as it lacks some power.
The 305g weight provides good stability and the 32cm balance provides good maneuverability. The 22mm thickness provides an ideal compromise between control and feel.
On off-centre balls, the softness of the frame allows for maximum comfort. The Graphene 360+ plays its role in a remarkable way. It reduces vibrations even on off-centre balls. In addition, the 18x20 string pattern is particularly suitable for players with a flat or slightly covered stroke.
On serve, we were not surprised by the excellent accuracy thanks to the good level of control and the softness of the 62ra.
In summary, this Head Gravity Tour Graphene 360+ offers an unparalleled accuracy/touch of the ball. The stability and comfort of play also sum up this new frame perfectly.
Its weak point is undoubtedly its access to the lift because of the tightened string pattern (18x20) and its lack of power. Prefer the Head Gravity MP Graphene 360+ with its 16x20 string pattern for a better ball rotation.
